I would definitely recommend Citizen Public House. We arrived with no reservation but the team quickly found a spot for us.
Great gastropub, good prices! Nice ambiance!! Unique offerings!! The menu was super interesting. I had the fair trade short rib . . . Amazing if you like short ribs! Seasoned well, fell off the bone . . . Yes cooked to perfection. For dessert I had the bag O' bacon brittle . . . Did you see the word bacon? I think that says it all!!! Yep yummy!
I generally go to this restaurant when I am traveling for work and I recommend it to colleagues and friends when in the Scottsdale area. The service was good, server knew the menu and was extremely attentive, had a good sense of humor.
One more thing . . . If you like sangria order one . . . I would double down that you will order another one. Enjoy!!!
