This place is a little pricey, but I was willing to pony up a little extra for an honest mechanic, and I did get great service the first two times I went there. The third time, they did a good job on what I asked them to fix but they said I needed to fix two other items. The second item I know to still be in good shape and when confronted with this, the guy at the desk backed off of the sell tactic. The third item was brand new and was replaced by them a few weeks ago. These guys have no records of what other mechanics I have been to have done, or if I keep good records on everything, which I do. I suppose they thought that I was just another clueless sheep to be fleeced, but trying to up-sell me repairs that I do not need without even checking their own records on what they have done to my vehicle was lazy, not very smart, has broken my trust, and I will not be coming back. Allied's total mishandling of this visit could possibly be chalked up to a few careless errors, but I doubt it. The incident felt very dishonest on their part.
