I have never had eye lash extensions before and decided to buy a groupon to try it out. I bought a GroupOn which included a full set of mink extensions plus one refill.
1st appointment: this appointment was with a lady that was learning how to put on extensions. She was super nice but it took longer than 2 hours to get the extensions on. Afterwards the corner of my left eye felt uncomfortable and the lashes in that eye pretty much started falling out right away. She booked my refill appointment 4 weeks out. I didn't really like them and decided I probably wouldn't do extensions on a regular basis.
2nd appointment: the lady was twenty minutes late, she lectured me on how many lashes had fallen out and also on the appointment being booked 4 weeks out instead of two weeks out. She told me she usually doesn't do refills if more than 50% have fallen out. But she still did the refill and did a good job. Both of my eyes feel fine and this time it actually looks good. She also only took 35 min.
Pros:
- I feel the groupon was a good deal
- I like my lashes after the refill
Cons
- paying for parking was annoying
- the blanket and sheet on the bed looked like they could use a wash
- I do not like getting breathed on, mouth masks like dentists wear would be nice
- getting lectured made the appointment uncomfortable for me
