My last visit to Vegas I stayed at the MGM and I had a good time but it was such a long walk from everything that it was exhausting just thinking about going out.
This time I stayed at the lovely Bellagio which is in the middle of all the action. It was much better.
The room was a fountain view room which was richly decorated with a large bathroom and large comfortable king bed. It had mechanical blackout shades to cover the huge picture windows showing the fountain if you wanted to sleep in. Which I did. So that was nice.
The fountain view was beautiful. My favorite thing. Especially at dusk when the lights looked lovely but you could still see the blue of the water and the rest of the strip. I attached a photo. I could sit and watch the fountain shows from my room and have the best view anyone could possibly have of them with no crowd.
Loved it.
The staff were all friendly and accommodating. There was a minor leak from the shower into the floor by the right side of the bed but since there wasn't another fountain view room available I dealt with it.
I loved the buffet, the shopping, the food, etc.
