This location is lister on interstates website as an authorized Interstate dealer. They are refusing to honor interstates warranty. Although the guy at the counter wanted to help me, his Supervisor refused and offered every excuse imaginable. As a former Interstate Dealer myself, I know that
What he was telling me was false. I had to keep explaining to him that ALL dealers are required to honor the interstate warranty regardless of where the battery was purchased. The supervisor decided that he simply didn't want to. I took my vehicle to Terrible Herbst down the street and they check the stamp on the battery, tested the fully charged battery, and determined that it was covered under the interstate warranty. Covered. Swapped. Done. I DO NOT recommend taking your vehicle to this shop for any service. If they are going to give me the run around over a simple warranty replacement, they are obviously dishonest. Again, the guy at the front counter did what was in his power to help me. The Supervisor that is responsible for that store likes to keep coming up with excuses when he KNOWS he is supposed to cover the warranty.
