My husband, my brother-in-law, a few (incidentally, French-speaking) friends and I came to see my brother perform on open mic night at the Comedy Nest. We had such a fun time! I was so impressed with the club! As the club is not too big, it is the perfect space to get your feet wet as a young performer and as an audience member, it feels very intimate.
It goes without saying that when it comes to a comedy club, one's rating can change with the quality of the performers and the friendliness of the audience, but on the evening we attended, we were really pleased with all of the entertainers, the audience was convivial and the bar service was excellent.
In sum, a great little comedy club doing its part to provide comedy to English-speaking Montrealers!
