I found a car on Craigslist that Alpha Pawn posted. I live 400 miles away. I negotiated a price and we both agreed. I told Sean I will have the car inspected which cost me $250 and then pay for the car.
He was very helpful with the inspection, and i received the inspection back the next back from the inspection company.
Sean and I had a gentleman's agreement to hold the car until I received the inspection report, he said he would call me if anyone else was serious about purchasing the car. Then he sold the car from under me with out even a courtesy call.
Now I am out $250 for the inspection fee, and the opportunity to buy the car.
It's not the correct way to do business.
Buyers and Pawnees beware. They don't stand by their word.
