I was eager to try this restaurant, but unfortunately it was a letdown at every turn. The menu is tiny, the prices are exorbitant, the entree portions look like appetizer portions, the rice is flavorless, the beans taste straight out of a can, I could go on and on. It's such a shame because I have enjoyed their sister restaurant Burritoholics quite a bit since it's opened, but I was disappointed to find that the quality of the food was the same yet the prices were three times as high. Ultimately, I left Calakmul feeling very hungry and very ripped off.
