-update. I would suggest not even bothering to take time out of your date to write a long winded documentation of your experience to social@planetfitness.com. This is clearly something they only post publicly to make it look like they actually care about the customer experience. My email was never responded to and no one ever followed up. They use your bank instead of a credit card because it's much easier to go after them through your credit card company and it gives them instant access to your cash versus using a credit card and possibly getting a charge back and having the lawyers come after them.
