I'd like to point out that the previous reviewer is inaccurate - Patricia Faust is a nurse practitioner, not a physician. I had a terrible sore throat and I thought I might have strep. I called around and I was able to get an appointment with her office for that same day. I really wanted some antibiotics. The staff was friendly and thorough, I give them 5 stars. Patricia, however, wouldn't prescribe me antibiotics and instead wanted to wait until a throat culture was done. She did the culture and told me they would call me back that afternoon with the results or tomorrow at the latest. I never heard from anyone until I received a bill for a "pregnancy test." I did not have a pregnancy test done and I never received the results of my throat culture so they are not getting another penny from me. They can send my $5.40 bill to collections for all I care. Additionally, Patricia advised I get some Zyrtec or other antihistamine to treat my nasal congestion. Like an idiot, I actually went out and bought some Zyrtec. Six hours later, when it did absolutely nothing, I realized she had no idea what she was talking about. I needed a nasal decongestant like Sudafed, not allergy medication. What a waste of a $20 copay. I would not recommend her. Arizona is one of the few states that permits nurse practitioners to practice medicine without the supervision of a licensed doctor. I think this is a mistake. I will no longer seek medical attention from a person who is not a licensed physician or is at least under the supervision of a doctor.
