I went here specifically because of the hype on Yelp, and because I'd yet to find a really good, affordable and CLEAN spa in Toronto. I can't say I was disappointed. The beginning of my experience at Nailsense was a little shaky. I had Shellac removal on my toes first and they left it on for 15 mins as they attended to other customers (I had an appointment). I was on lunch and so this was a little annoying for me. I saw they did the same to another customer getting Shellac removed from her nails - she had it on for well over 15 mins. BUT, they pulled it together in the end, and they get five stars because compared to all the other spas I've been to in TO, the bang for your buck was unbelievable. Fantastic pedi... they weren't shy with the scrubbing and scraping, but still gentle. They're more than happy to use razor if you want it, and great dryers at the end so you don't ruin your pedi five minutes after you get it. And the place was CLEAN. People were continously cleaning the whole time I was there. All that for $25 + the shellac removal? I'll be back for sure.
