I really want to like this place - I live in Arcadia and love the atmosphere at this place. Unfortunetely, The two times I have been here the food has been OK - nothing spectacular. The first tikme i ordered the green chile pork stew - the flavor was good but after a few bites I was bored with the same flavor with each bite. This last time - Saturday, Spetember 1st - I ordered the Steamed fish....I get that this is mainly a comfort food restaurant using a ton of bacon and sausage in their food - but I was in the mood for something light and semi-healthy. i feel like this was their forgotten dish - the fish had zero flavor and the color on the plate was white and light orange from the butternut squash puree. Very bland. i was very disappointed. I won't go back unless I am ready to eat a heavy and fatty meal. Upside is the service was good and my boyfriend liked his roasted chicken.
