May of this year was my 5 year birthday of living in Arizona (HOW?!) and I decided to finally get my act together and schedule my first annual skin screening. My natural skin color is "translucent ghost," so I figured I needed to be proactive and start scheduling these exams! I chose Spectrum because it's basically down the street from where I live. The reception area is bright and clean and the ladies I talked to at the front desk were awesome. They warned everyone coming in that they were stacked with appointments that day, and that there would be a bit of a delay. Of course, I've come to expect a wait at ALL medical offices now, but it's nice they were proactive in telling everyone. (Sidenote: I've never seen such JERKS talking down to front desk staff before. Ten million kudos to the gals handling it professionally and much more calmly than I could have.) My appointment started about 25 minutes late, but that was OK because the actual exam was fast and efficient! My PA was Juliette, and her assistant was Dulce. They were quick, thorough, and answered any questions I had. Juliette pointed out a few spots for me to keep an eye on, but gave me a clean bill of skin health to go. Woohoo! Dulce presented me with some skincare/lotion/sunscreen/coupons on my way out, and I was able to schedule my next year appointment right then and there. Great first impression, Spectrum!
