I pay nearly $90 just for internet service from Cox. Have been a customer for 7 years. Have had a few substantial rate hikes and somewhat shady internet service during this time. Now I get a notice that they will charge additional rates if one exceeds their monthly data plan. Unfortunately, they have a near monopoly in my area so I'm basically stuck. Otherwise, I'd drop them right quick! They never have given me warm fuzzy feelings inside.
