I recently had my puppy neutered at the Spay Me Clinic. I was referred to the clinic by my cousin who has had many dogs spayed and neutered there over the years.
When I called to set up my appointment, the receptionist was very kind and knowledgeable. She answered all of my questions and let me know exactly what to expect the day of my appointment.
The morning my puppy was scheduled to be neutered I showed up at the clinic along with all of the other clients for the day. We all were checked in quickly and efficiently. I was urged to pay the extra $15 fee to take home pain medication. The receptionist told me if my dog experienced any pain afterwards I would have to take him into his regular vet and be charged accordingly. I thought of it as a little insurance. Although, I didn't need to give him any of it, I was grateful for the advice. After about ten to fifteen minutes of being there the vet came out and thoroughly told everyone about the clinic, the procedure, and what to expect from our puppies in their recovery. She also informed us of things to look out for and gave us resources to call on in case of emergency.
When I arrived at the designated time to pick my puppy up, I was given his paperwork and the receptionist reiterated his follow up care.
In the ten to fourteen days after his surgery he recovered beautifully. I would highly recommend this clinic to anyone and everyone! The price is half that of a regular vet. The procedure and healing afterwards was exactly the same as it would have been if I had it done at his regular vet. Just half the cost!
