OMG! OMG! I've been here a few times in the past and haven't thought anything more of their ice cream than ordinary. And then... I discovered their Bordeaux sundae. OMG! OMG! The menu describes toffee ice cream with almonds, crushed bordeaux chocolate candy, whipped cream and chocolate fudge until your heart's content. I was like, "okay, that sounds good."
Then the server brings this HUGE punch bowl of ice cream heaven with a side of warm chocolate fudge. Look at the photo! Crazy! I could've shared this thing with the whole family and everyone would've been stuffed. Drizzled it with the warm fudge, untucked my belt and off I went. WoW!! I'm getting this from now on every time I come to Malley's.
The 5 stars is really more specific to the Bordeaux sundae than everything else they served... of course, coupled with the great service (they start you off with an appetizer of pretzels and dipping fudge) and the carousel, which is just such a hit with the kids. Definitely a fun place to take the family... or maybe a date.
