As parents to a toddler, you can imagine our excitement to securing childcare and enjoying this trip! We are visiting Las Vegas and chose this restaurant as our "fancy restaurant" to visit on our babymoon.
Although arriving on time, we were seated 20 mins late, then 5-10 mins for the waiter' arrival. This made us feel rushed for the show we had later that evening.
We were seated at a beautiful 2 person table right in front of the fountains. But I later realized it was directly in front of their service bar 1 foot away and took away from the privacy/romantic ambiance to hear or feel service personnel opening/shutting drawers and chit-chatting.
Bread service was cold! Never been to a a fancy restaurant that served cold bread! Not even Cheesecake Factory does this! They have TONS of staff, surprised there is no bread monitor, it's your 1st impression of the food!
Filet & Duck were delicious. Brussels sprouts side dish was flavorless, pick something else.
Lastly, we were offered to review the dessert menu and would have ordinarily ordered something as it was a special occasion, but were in such a rush.
Lastly, I felt a bit down they did not do anything to recognize our special night. Not one chocolate, petite four (that was staring me in the face just inches behind me on the service table!), not a card, nothing. The waiter did acknowledge our special night verbally upon greeting us, so I know they were aware of it, but nothing happened. It would have been nice to leave with a sweet in my mouth after our dinner as I wanted to change the taste of the steak out.
So next time for you special occasion, if you're to pay $70 for a piece of steak, I think there are some more refined, less busy and more attentive options in this big fun city.
