I went into this branch a couple weeks ago to pay off a second home mortgage. I ended up dealing with the manager Alex. He was so professional and quick in handling my transaction, giving me a receipt and taking care of every question I had that I decided to open an account here. Because I was paying off the second mortgage I told him that I would now be eligible to refinance my first mortgage at a lower rate. He gave me the card of his mortgage Banker Caroline. I called and left a message for Caroline to call me back at her earliest convenience. I was very surprised when she returned my call while she was on vacation in San Diego. I made an appointment to meet with her the following week. She provided all the necessary information and I decided that I would apply for a refinance through this branch. Since they had been so accommodating on these other two issues I decided I might as well move my regular checking account from the Bank of America branch right down the street. I've never been really impressed with this Bank of America branch. At Chase I dealt with Rob to set up a joint checking account and Visa cards for me and my wife. He was Great! Chase has banking privileges specifically for veterans and as one, Rob set me up with a joint checking account, free checking, no service charges, etc. My wife wanted a separate checking account and because I was a veteran she was allowed to benefit with the same no fee checking account. Rob was fast efficient and answered every question. I cannot over emphasize how much more customer-friendly this Chase branch is than the Bank of America branch 200 yards down the road. As soon as all of my pending transactions are concluded with Bank of America I will be closing that account and moving all of my future business to Chase. If you live in this area I highly recommend you give Chase a look.
