I finally got a chance to check out this much hyped about breakfast joint. The staff were very friendly and attentive. The wait wasn't long since I got there around 8:15am. I ordered the waffle, and hubby ordered the griddle cakes with a side of their thick cut bacon. Mine order came with 2 strips of bacon already. The waffle tasted ordinary. There was nothing that screams WOW to me. Again, the griddle cakes were just ok. There was nothing extraordinary about them. I feel like eating at a friend's house, not a much raved about breakfast place. The bacon strips were actually delicious!!! I love the peppery taste to it. It's an average place for breakfast, but not one of the best. I wouldn't go out of my way to get here if you don't live nearby. I would give it 3.5 stars, but I can't with this app. Overall, it was a very nice experience as far as the staff, but I feel the food could be better for all the 5 star ratings I have read about.
