I originally got referred here by a friend to Dr. Connell. I think I saw him once, and then got bounced to another dentist, and then to a third dentist, who I seemed to be assigned to. This dentist did a filling on a tooth, and it's still sensitive a year later. When I told them that, they said there might be another small cavity in the tooth and did another filling, but it didn't fix the problem.
I also had a filling done between two teeth which then always ended up ripping my floss. When I told this dentist that, they tried to fix it (painfully) with sandpaper, and then tried with a drill. But when they started drilling, they drilled the wrong tooth and I had to immediately stop them and tell them! Even after all this it still rips my floss. Needless to say I was not instilled with a lot of confidence.
I finally decided to check out a new dentist, and when I asked to have my records transferred, I was told it cost $25. Their reasoning? "It takes some time to send the email." When I asked if I could just come in with a flash drive to pick them up they said no. When I asked to talk to the office manager I was told they weren't in that week. It seems ridiculous to me that after I and my insurance have paid for all my treatments, I need to pay that much to obtain a record of them.
