I used to enjoy my visits to Islands Animal Clinic. I think the previous owner retired and the place took a nosedive. The receptionist was not warm and welcoming. Dr Harris was not friendly to my dog. She approached towering over with a thermometer my dog backed up and growled at her. My dog used to love the Dr that retired (forgot his name) he would come in and immediately interact with my dog all the while doing what needed to be done. I was very impressed. Too bad he is gone. They sent me a request for a review and I explained in detail why I was not a happy customer. That was three months ago I have not heard from anyone at Islands Animal Clinic. I am looking for a new vet which is too bad Islands is close to my house. Edited to add: They did call in response to my review four months later.... The message said something like "I am sorry about the bad experience you FELT you had" No I did not FEEL I had one I KNOW I had one... I did not return that call the person did not seem sincere.
