We stopped by Mon Ami again on our last visit to Las Vegas and we're so glad we gave it another try. Our first experience was an unpleasant one due to an extremely rude waiter. This past visit, we were served by Evelyne and she was extremely thorough and patient. We got two drinks - the Cinco de Mango ($15.95) and the Brown Sugar Mule ($14.95). Both strong, tasty drinks that we would recommend. My boyfriend and I shared the Onion Soup ($11.95). It came out with a nice layer of cheese on top. Most onion soups that I've had in the past at other places ended up being overly salty, but this was not. I got a Steak & Frites Classique (butter) and my boyfriend got the Steak & Frites Bordelaise. Both of our steaks were cooked to a perfect medium rare and not chewy at all. The frites were nice and crispy too like potato chips! Our share of the bill came out to ~$115 before tip. It's pricey, but for the amount of food and quality, it's worth it for something so popular on the Strip.
