I gave it a four because the environment is simple but nice. I like the writings on the wall and the menu is organized well and easy to read. The guy behind the counter was nice and helpful. We told him we were first timers and wanted to try that fish dessert with custard that we've seen posted around on social media. However, I wondered why he didn't offer us a stamp card and the discount that you get when you come back because he offered it to the customer after us.
We also ordered a Vietnamese iced coffee- which is sweet at the same time strong. It's very delicious! The fish dessert with custard is called taiyaki (fish shaped cake) it's similar to that of a waffle. I paid about $11. The coffee was $4.50 before tax, which is somewhat pricey for the size it comes in. I was not that impressed with it because the green tea ice cream was very sweet. I love sweet but it tasted too sweet. The fish cake itself I didn't like at all. It was bland and didn't really taste like anything, not even green tea. We ordered the green tea flavored custard and taiyaki. We waited about five mins for our order. Not too bad.
Overall, staff was friendly and environment is clean, simple, and nice. Not a lot of tables if it were to get busy but it's a decent size for an ice cream place. The pricing for the fish dessert though is fair. The taiyaki is thick and dense. It's bigger than the palm of my hand. Unfortunately I would not come back here because it's about 25-30 mins away from where I live and it's not something i would go out of my way for unless MAYBE I was in the area. It was a nice experience though. Maybe if I'm in the area and I'm craving something sweet, I'll come back and try something different!
