Let me preface this with the fact that I've gotten haircuts at cosmetology schools before and been more than pleased with them. That was not the case this time.
Pros: The price. Can't beat $8 for a haircut
Cons: The haircut itself. I got it cut yesterday, and as I was playing with it last night (because who doesn't love the feeling of freshly cut hair?), I noticed that certain pieces are much longer than the surrounding pieces. Not layers - just pieces of hair that weren't cut or were cut in an unnatural or unflattering manner. When looking in thw mirror this morning, I noticed that one side is about an inch longer than the other. By far the worst haircut I've ever gotten.
One other note - the educator did quite a bit of clean-up after the student performed the cut.
