STAY AWAY FROM THESE GUYS!!!
If I could give them a negative star review I would. Zero stars is too generous for these scammers. Based on our experience, this company basically takes your premium from you and then refuses all claims. We purchased a home with a working AC, and in fact if the AC wasn't working, this would have had to been legally disclosed to us at time of purchase.
We purchased Old Republic Home Warranty and then the AC/Heater unit failed to blow cold air. They sent a tech who did little to actually figure out what was wrong. Instead, he nit picked insignificant cosmetic issues (he had difficulty reading part numbers, he noticed a door was misplaced on the unit). He didn't do anything to figure out why there was no cold air. Furthermore, he never sent us or Old Republic a written report. Nothing in writing? That just seems very suspicious. Based on this, Old Republic rejected our claims. When I called to understand why, my questions were met with rude, condescending replies such as "You are not a technician are you?"
Sadly, this is a common practice among unscrupulous companies in the industry - take the premium then make up BS reasons for not paying any claims. Save your money because based on our experience it seems unlikely Old Republic will pay out any legitimate claims. When you most need them, they seem capable of finding any reason to deny honoring your claims.
OUR ADVICE - SAVE YOURSELF MONEY AND HASSLES AND GO ELSEWHERE !
