After a few confused turns while walking, I humbled myself to use the directory on Piedmont Row to find this place. It happened to be on the one street I didn't drive down while looking for parking. Go figure. I took my daughter here for her birthday breakfast. She loves waffles, and was very excited looking over the menu. She choose the chocolate chip waffle, I went with the cinnamon sugar and frosted waffle. As a true waffle novice, I looked around for some syrup to put on the waffle, as I had done all my life with the plain ones I ate at home or at Waffle House. My daughter reminded me that what I was eating was sweet enough, and syrup would be overkill. She was correct. One bite told me that the cinnamon and frosting was all the sweetness I needed. These waffles are very sweet, like Nestle Crunch and a Slurpee for breakfast sweet. We both are 95% of our waffles, but had to throw in the towel. They were firm around the edge, yet softer in the middle. Much thicker than what you would get at the Waffle House. The shop is cozy, and the server was friendly and warm.
