I went car shopping in January of this year. I was already pre-approved by my bank. The place was busy but I still shouldn't have had to go find someone to help me. Then I show the guy I want to look at this used Acera they had. He asked what I'm looking for payment wise. I tell him and he says you wouldn't be able to afford this car! Instead of letting me test drive anything he says I can't afford anything on the lot so I don't argue I leave and go down the street to Ford who treated me very well. Go see Tom! I got a 2013 slightly used Ford Fusion with the tech package and they always send coupons and take care of me. I don't know if it's because I was a woman or I look young for my age but no one should get treated how Day treated me. Joke was on that guy! I was pre-approved for any amount as long as I had 10% on hand which I did.
