Arranged a pick up for a couch. Staff on the phone were alright. Specifically asked if they take reclining couches as I know other places will not due to weight. Yep, they can take it. Pick up date is 3 weeks away. OK, fine. I call the day before to confirm and ask if the driver can give me a heads up call so I can put my dogs upstairs. Day of the delivery I get a "30 minute warning" call and then the guys are at my door about 3 minutes later. Cue dogs going ape as I try to corral them upstairs with treats. Delivery guys come in, full boots covered in snow and muck and proceed to WALK into my carpeted living room in their boots. Then they say "Oh...it's a recliner? We normally don't take recliners. It's in good shape though so we'll make an exception". They then proceed to sit in my living room and take the couch apart and march back out in their boots. My only accolade would be that they had enough sense not to come back to the door after loading up the couch expecting a tip...If you need me, I'll be at the Co-op renting a carpet cleaner.
