In the interest of being fair, these pies are "simply delicious" and appear made of wholesome good quality products. They taste as if right from Grandma. BUT, a delicious pie is not necessarily a pretty pie. I will take partial blame for not considering this prior to ordering. One definitely need a pretty pie when serving to others. I bought a number of pies from this establishment as well as pies from other locations (independent and chain) for a pie bar for an event. My husband picked up my order from here. Had I picked the order up - I would have refused at least two, possibly three, on appearance alone. Either because parts were cemented to the pan - making it impossible to get out a neat single slice or over cooked in spots - making some individual slices appear burnt. I had slices from each of three pies that that were un-servable. Considering the cost per unit - YIKE, value - NOT. Though those pieces were yummy for private consumption the next day. I certainly did not need, or think I was getting, pie for personal consumption.
