How have I missed this amazing little spot after going to the Container Park so many times!? I have been missing out! We decided to "grab a quick drink" after having Pinches Tacos (BTW-YUM!) and wandered into Oak & Ivy. WOW! WOW! WOW! The two mixoligists (no-not bartenders) behind the bar were so awesome. Their enthusiasm for whiskey, and what they were doing was inspiring! The bar itself is a cozy, super comfy wood toned hide-a-way....and then you realize you are sitting in a shipping container. BAM! Seriously, if you like shockingly fabulous cocktails served in secret cozy local spots, do not miss out! And it gives you a chance to check out the container park which is local merchant heaven, and within walking distance from Freemont St activities!
