So i know this place is bad so I can't give them a 1 star because I was expecting something sub par.
This hotel is MLife's cheapest and oldest hotel. Perhaps the strips oldest...
I came in with an open mind so I asked to be upgraded in their renovated new rooms. The standard rooms are $20-32 but the upgrade added another $20 plus resort fee of 26 or something like that, the nightly rate became $100 something.
I love the dealers at the craps table and the poker room is pretty descent. They even have me comps for the buffet and comped my resort fee.
So I almost gave this place a 3.5-4 stars until 7am and .... Drilllllllllling started happening next to us. Apparently our room was so new that they put us next to a room that was still under construction. Oh boy were we pissed. The drilling and hammering happened for 4 hrs.
So we had no sleep but I contacted the front desk and the refunded everything for us and gave us a late check out until 5pm. So I'm happy about customer service. Im not happy about our room being placed next to a construction room, that is a big no-no in the hospitality industry. Hotel hell should come to this place and help them.
As a landmark in LV, they should really do something about clientele experience. It's supposed to be a castle, and we should be treated like royalty. M life can do better for their most affordable hotel.
I've had a better sleep in holiday inn.
