it's a nice alternative to the youth-driven, dance-vibe gay bars on Church street.
It's a dark little hole of a place upstairs on Church, but the bartenders are friendly and the vibe is welcoming if you're art of the group. I am the only woman who is ever at the joint when I go, and it's usually with my one friend who goes for drinks and picks up passes to the bath house, Steam Works, across the street when they are doing a promo for it.
It smells like sweaty men inside, kinda like a locker room, but you know what? That's exactly why some of my friends love it.
