Most people have never tried (or heard of) mead, so it's a fun, unique, Madison experience.
The tasting room is actually in an art gallery that changes into a bar in the evenings Wed-Sun, at the back left side of the building. There should be plenty of parking on the side streets nearby. Live music on some evenings. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. There is usually no more than 2-3 other people there, so it can be a little awkwardly quiet sometimes.
I would definitely recommend getting a flight of the half pours. It's plenty and you can get a feeling of what mead is, if you like it, and what to order a full goblet of next time.
