Dearly loved in the community and heaped upon with a mass of accolades, Lotus of Siam is fairly accessible if you are staying on the Strip, but is it worth it? Depends who you ask. I'd probably call it "white people Thai food" in a dated, old setting, and it's the only thing that keeps this strip mall alive. Quite honestly, I'm not a fan of the food. It's expensive for Thai food, and our food didn't come out hot. Servers were nice but harried in passing. Chances are you have to wait to eat. Please note that they do take an afternoon rest and close shop after 2:30PM, I believe. As for me, next time I'd go down to Chinatown to find some incredible Thai food there that is cheaper and without a wait.
