I had a problem w a socket, so I found Richard here on Yelp and called him to ask for help. I asked couple Q's, including the one about the price range, got my answears and we had a deal. Next morning Richard came, he was polite and nice. He checked other outlets and was going to start a repairment of the broken one. But then he told me that we owe him $65 even if he wouldn't be able to fix the socket. I was shocked. I was so shocked I've agreed w it - I felt myself like a child. Than my husband came and turn him out of our house. 1. He didn't mention this $65 when we've just started to discuss work and prices by SMS. I think he just saw that we are young foreigners and decided to cheat some money. 2. His arguments were: "I came, I came in 12 hours after your call, it's freezing cold (it was -5C), I will not work for you for free" - why for free? We've discussed prices, even payment in check. I do not reccomend this person to let in your house.
