Great, well kept Spanish-style, one story motel (original portion) with a more recent two storyaddition. Vintage appointments circa late 1950s-60s, clay tiled roof.
We got a huge room in the corner of the older, original part of the motel. Had two queens, a small dining table, 4 chairs, a long low credenza/chest of drawers, separate dressing room, separate toilet area. Good air conditioning, plenty cool.
This place has a secluded feeling, though on a main drag off-freeway drag through town. This feeling is enhanced by well grown and kept vegetation screening the motel from the street. It has a pool out towards the street and this is screened by plants also. Free coffee is offered in the morning at a table outside the office.
Great vintage feel, very clean, very well kept motel with comfortable beds and good air conditioning and is close to the downtown area for shopping, dining and there is a brewery/brewpub/gastro pub to boot.
Recommended highly, would stay there again.
