This review is in regards to their Pitstop oil change place at 4630 Sheppard Ave E, Scarborough. I went there one morning when they opened to get a quick Oil change before a long trip with my van. There were two young kids doing the oil change and an older gentleman who was in charge. I had the full synthetic oil change done and went away satisfied or so I thought. I had my next oil change done at my regular mechanic and when he went to change the oil filter he couldn't get the canister open and broke the whole oil filter housing because the people at the Canadian Tire Pitstop had cross threaded the top. Needless to say I had to have the whole oil filter housing ordered from the dealer and instead of my oil change costing $70 dollars, it now cost me $370. I should have listened to everyone that says don't go to Canadian Tire for car service. I won't be going back for any type of car service at any Canadian Tire. If you want a real honest mechanic see my review for the mechanic at Executive Motors in Scarborough. He has save me many $$$$ and told me stuff didn't need to be fixed even though Green and Ross told me it need to be changed.
