I first came here a year ago, only ordered the egg, ham, and swiss croissant. The wait was extremely long due to how busy they are compared to employees. The croissant was ok, wasn't enough for me to wait another 20+ minutes again.
So, a year later I decided to try this place again on a whim, realizing I had never even tried their coffee last time. I came before work, shortly after they opened. I still had a bit of a wait but it was closer to about 10 minutes this time. I ordered a starberry white chocolate muffin that they heated up and a hot white chocolate mocha. Both were delicious, I was pretty impressed with both. Usually when I find a good coffee place for some reason the pastries they have I usually don't care for so it was nice to have an actual good muffin without needing to go to a bakery.
I left this on a 4 star due to the wait still (only two people working and ringing). Although I was very satisfied with the coffee and muffin, desert wind coffee is on my way to work and tases just as good. They're also much faster and have a rewards program. If they had more people working I wouldn't mind stopping in here instead about once a week. However, with the wait that they have I'd have to actually wake up probably about 30 minutes earlier just to make enough time to stop here and it's just not worth it to me.
On the rare occasions I'm up early enough (as I was recently!) I'll consider stopping. If you live nearby and have some time, I'd definitely recommend stopping by.
