I have used Design Tree Maintenance in the past and they did a good job. This year I needed my lemon tree trimmed and they quoted $350 as their minimum, which was way too high for just the one tree. Ben found two small trees to trim as well. So sorry I said yes. They didn't call to confirm a time, I had to call them. They sent out 3 guys and one didn't do anything. They trimmed the trees ok but the next day I saw they didn't trim out the dead wood from the lemon tree. I did it myself as I didn't want them back at my house. I paid half in advance and within an hour of leaving they charged my credit card the second half without even talking to me. Then 2 days later someone calls to request the rest of the payment!! I told them it was paid and he said...oh, I see that now. He asked if I was happy with the service and I said no. I thought it was too pricy for what they did (they were here less than an hour) and I had to finish it myself. He started arguing about I didn't sign up for dead wood removal. OMH! I finally said I didn't want to argue with him and I would not use them again. Buyer beware. Ben is so nice and then the bait and switch workers.
