4 stars for the pork and veg steamed buns
3 stars for the other buns
Why?
1. Steamed buns are filled with quite a bit of meat, well seasoned and there is some sauce within the bun making it one of the best!
2. Great value! Steamed buns are 3 for $2 and they are larger than steamed buns you get at dim sum.
3. Baked buns are 3 for a $1, although made smaller than other places, that's a pretty good deal!
4. Only 3 stars for the baked in terms of taste and quality. Although the bbq pork bun was decent in flavour, there was probably more sauce than meat, and other buns like custard filled were just ok...similar to other bakeries in the area.
Next thing to try...flaky crust egg tarts!
Also, service is very friendly :)
