Booked it for ~$130 last minute on Hotel Tonight...
The lobby seems to be under construction at the moment.
The check-in process was a huge ordeal, one person waiting with 2 people in front, one of whom whose room reservations were not right for a group so it was a huge ordeal. The lobby was packed w/ school groups.
We were told to take the blue elevator to our floor. I got on an elevator with the color blue, but it had every button BUT the floor I needed. I got off, and hit the up button, and the next elevator that came of the same color had my floor. Very strange.
Coming in at 11PM Saturday night we found free, easy overnight street parking a block west on a side street. (on Laplante Ave)
Location seemed good.
I imagine if I weren't paying consolidator rates and paid average rates I would probably think less, but in this case "you get what you pay for" rings true and I was satisfied enough.
