I've been to this apartment community many, many times. Originally I went about a year after they opened. When I was shown the actual available unit, there were some issues with the paint and other minor maintenance issues. I asked the leasing agent if the apartment was considered move in ready and she said yes. That worried me, especially when this apartment was basically considered almost brand new. I also was concerned that it seemed everyone had dogs and I could hear a lot of barking in the building. I love animals but don't like barking all the time. I passed on moving there at the time, though the concession being offered was good.
In the past year and a half I've seen their rents go way up, concessions go way down. Many times I was promised to get contact if the rent changed or specials came up but no one ever actually called. Poor customer service. My last several times I was "working" with James who at first seemed pleasant but in the end turned out to be quite rude and is one of many reasons I will never rent at this complex even if the rents come down to reasonable.
Cons:
The area is not too great.
Rent too high for the area.
Fake laminate counters, not granite. At the price point they have - you need to offer people granite. Also poorly mounted in the model, they make noise and wobble.
Right by the 2 bedroom model there is a major mosquito funnel.
Required extra insurance above normal renter's insurance

Office staff - at least the people I've dealt with including James
Pros:
Layouts in 2 bedroom are good, decent space in the apartment
Very little carpet
