I was initially excited that we were going to get a Whole Foods on this side of town. We love the vegan General Tso chicken that they sell in the deli, even if it is crazy expensive. I used to live in Rocky River, and guess I had forgotten how out-of-the-way everything is around there. Most of their stuff in the 365 line are fairly good deals, but it's amazing the things that they don't carry. Every time I have a certain item that I am looking for, they never have it! I went in there recently looking for a certain type of tea (pu-erh) that they supposedly carry, according to an online search that I did right before I left. Nope, nowhere to be found, and the employee who supposedly worked in that area of the store was basically clueless. Anyway, I decided to stop at Earth Fare, since it was on the way home, and I found three different varieties of the tea there, and I didn't even have to ask anybody! It's going to be a long time before I make the drive to that Whole Foods again, especially if it's only going to end up in disappointment.
