We needed a hotel after our day at Carowinds and the Hyatt Place it was. I'm a frequent business traveler, so I pretty much know what to expect with every hotel chain at this point. This particular Hyatt Place was just that and I was most pleased. We booked online, and were checked in by the world's friendliest front desk employee when we arrived. I wish I could remember his name to commend him on going above and beyond in niceness. The room itself was nice, new, clean, and nothing particularly fancy. It's just what I've come to expect for a reasonably priced Hyatt Place hotel. There weren't any particular bells and whistles, but it was a great nights sleep. The complimentary continental breakfast was way better than most. It wasn't anything overly luxurious, but for around $120 it was a great hotel stay. Next time I'm in the area and not wanting to be downtown Charlotte, then I would more than happily stay here again.
