Just wanted to update my review from 3 1/2 years ago because J.R. Perkins came through for me again today. I left message at 10pm on a Thursday (I decided not to select the "emergency" prompt), because one of our A/C units went down, and we're having a party this weekend with the temperatures forecasted to reach 115. JR Perkins returned my call first thing in the morning and -- despite a flood of emergency calls -- managed to fit me in to fix my unit within a couple of hours. Rich, the owner of the company, did the repair work himself, and he even drove back to his office to get the part that I needed. I have been a faithful customer with JR Perkins for many years (they also do my twice-yearly maintenance check), and they've given me no reason to look elsewhere!
