Heard about this place a few times and finally made it there today. They were busy (arrived at noon) and seating was limited but we lucked out (had 2 adults, 3 kids & a stroller). Took a while to order but that seemed mainly due to the folks in front of us being indecisive and couldn't figure out who was paying what. The owner(?) apologized for the wait.
I ordered the Cheese Crisp in lieu of the pizza for my 3 yr old and the owner said that was a great choice. Said it took a little longer due to the dough which is homemade and needs to be baked...it was worth the wait. My friend and I and both of our daughters had a piece and we all loved it. It was a flaky, light dough, with mozzerella and feta cheese and spices, served with a dipping sauce that was sort of bland, but this thing didn't need a dip in anything. It was delish!! Definitely recommend it.
I ordered the greek salad and had them add the gyro meat. It was also very good. A light vinegrette dressing was nicely mixed all over the salad, came with feta, tomatoes, onions, green peppers & olives. Everything was cut up really small which I loved, easy to eat and no cutting required. The meat was very juicy and my 3 yr old, who never had gyro meat, ate about 1/2 of my salad so I'd say it was a hit!
My friend ordered the salad with the candied pecans, feta, and tomatoe/onion mixture that mine had. She got the honey chicken which was very tasty as well.
Portion sizes were good and prices were fair, not great, but okay for the size of the portions.
Only complaint was that they probably could use more tables at busy times but not much you can do about that. Friendly service and very good food. I'd go again if I'm in the area.
