March 2017: I drove thru this car wash on a busy Saturday. They always try to upsell when I arrive at the payment kiosk so I have learned to ignore the person standing by the payment machine. They crammed all the cars into the car wash conveyor belt. While I was half way through the car wash I noticed my right side mirror was broken off but still hanging on my a thread. So I park and go look for an employee and ask for a manager. Of course they make me wait awhile before anyone comes to help me. The guy, Pedro, immediately says "there are scratches on the mirror this happened because you had previous damage to this mirror. This is not our fault." Of course I expected him to not take any responsibility. I think he did this to patronize me and try to make me feel stupid because I am a woman. He was rude and talking down to me. We fill out an incident report. I decline to sign the report because it's asking me to acknowledge that the car wash does not take responsibility for the damage. After about 15-20 minutes another guy comes over , I assume he is a manager(named J.R.) and gives me his business card. He too denies any responsibility, but says they may be able to buy a replacement mirror on eBay and give it to me. I say to him "I'm not making this up. I don't have time to mess with this nonsense" he says to me "well there are many other cars here that went thru the wash and they don't have broken mirrors so your mirror must have been damaged before you went thru the wash." He takes pictures of my car mirror, as do I, and he offers to use packing tape to help the mirror stay on for my drive home. He says he will call me regarding fixing my mirror. I won't hold my breath. I guess I shouldn't be surprised that I haven't received a refund or a call from the car wash manager.
