As a tourist, I must say that I don't really see the appeal of this place. Yes, it's a fun idea to have a shopping center built out of shipping containers stacked upon each other. It looks great and interesting, but that's it. I've been there with some friends in the early evening, the sun was shining and it was hard to find the place in the shadow to enjoy a drink. We browsed the shops, had a really sugary lemonade in The Black Cup Coffee and after 30 minutes we were done.
It's probably better for locals, especially families. The place is known to organize a lot of free concerts, movies and other entertainment. And the Treehouse looks like a great spot for the little ones.
