First time here, ordered food to go. Place is a family owned business located at the end of a strip mall. Early Saturday afternoon and it was still busy. Main choices are BBQ or Fried Fish. There are many options and sides. Opted for the pulled brisket combination with jalopeno hush puppies and cole slaw with a fountain drink.
The pulled brisket was very good, served on a hambuger bun. You can add their BBQ sauce or hot sauce and again there are options. The brisket was flavorful and juicy and a very generous portion. I would order that again any day. BBQ sauce that we tried had a vinegar base
Not too impresed with the jalopeno hush puppes. Small size nuggets but not spicy for my taste. Searched but could not find the jalopeno. The cole slaw was good, it had a mayo base.
Will be back to try the fried catfish with greens and okra. You can call in your order and take it home or dine in. A filling and flavorful lunch.
