I usually don't write reviews but Union should be the highest ranked in the area.
If you know anything about coffee then you know all of the other shops in the area are serving you overroasted, stale, non-specialty coffee. You could travel 20 minutes across town to get another good cup of coffee, but why?
The atmosphere has always been nice when I've been there. The outlets are few, but most people are pretty nice about letting you plug in if needed.
I can't understand how anyone has given them a bad review. If you actually like coffee, real quality coffee, you'll love it here.
If what you actually seek is 15 pumps of syrup, one shot of espresso, and a gallon of milk, you might be better off going somewhere else. Or just get a white chocolate mocha and enjoy the taste of a real flavored latte.
Coffee Tip: Get the Colombian brewed in their French Press. Perfect.
